Leena Joshi is an award winning social entrepreneur, climate advocate, and author of distinction. She is the founder and executive director of Climate Conservancy: an international institution that engages more than nine thousand volunteers across over sixty nations in the pursuit of climate education and global sustainability. Her service has encompassed board and advisory appointments with World Ocean Day, the National Science Foundation, The Climate Reality Project, The Resilience Project, Reserva: The Youth Land Trust, Oceanry, and the Rising Poets Community, among others. She also presides as chief executive officer and chair of the board at EcoVita. Beyond these roles, she has been a member of Harvard Business Review Ascend Select, where she has advised editorial, marketing, and product teams and contributed to research of enduring value.
 

Her work has been recognized and featured by leading institutions and international media: the World Bank Group, United Nations Climate Change, the United Nations Foundation, the Climate Reality Project, Her Campus Media, Feminist, the United States Department of State, and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation.
 

As a Youth Stocktake Researcher, she co authored the UNFCCC Youth Stocktake Report: a foundational document now shaping the future of youth participation in global climate governance. At present, she serves as Research Advisor to Imperial College London, where her pioneering work on climate anxiety and ecological grief is advancing new global conversations on the psychological and emotional dimensions of environmental collapse.
 

Leena is the author of two published volumes: The Climate Awakening and Ethereal, both of which have been acclaimed as lyrical and soul stirring manifestos for a livable future. In addition to her writing, she is a climate poet, abstract artist, and conservation photographer whose creative work has been exhibited and performed on the international stage. Through her art she seeks to render planetary urgency into forms of visceral beauty, uniting aesthetics with activism in ways that transcend boundaries of discipline, culture, and geography. Her career stands as a testament to the power of intellect and imagination in service of the earth, and to the enduring force of storytelling as both scholarship and act of change.
